Spray Dip is another system in our udder hygiene program for dairy cows. It is designed for the application of disinfectant products during the post-milking phase.
How Spray Dip Works
Spray Dip operates using a compressed air system, without any electrical or mechanical components, and is designed to apply post-milking disinfectant products either through immersion or spray.
Depending on the type of barn and the product used, Spray Dip is available in various configurations:
1. With a compressed air pump delivering 2 liters/min.
2. With a compressed air pump delivering 7 liters/min.
3. With a drop-line and dosing gun equipped with a transparent immersion cup.
4. With a drop-line and dosing gun featuring AISI 304 stainless steel nozzles for direct spraying onto the cow’s teat.
5. With adjustable flow-rate tubes and spiral drop-lines based on specific capacity requirements.
The milking parlor operator can easily treat all livestock using an ingenious drop-line system that delivers the pre-mixed, ready-to-use product directly to the operator’s workstation in the milking parlor.
Spray Dip may be marketed under different names, as its branding varies depending on the distributor. Additionally, the system’s color can be customized upon request.
All components are Made in Italy and CE Certified.
How Spray Dip Works
Spray Dip uses a compressed air system to mix and dispense film-forming or liquid disinfectant products for post-milking application.
The product is drawn directly from the container, located outside the milking parlor, through a tube with a suction filter. It is then delivered via a drop-line and dosing gun system directly into the milking parlor, pre-mixed and ready for use.
With Spray Dip, the milking parlor operator no longer needs to manually mix the product. Whenever required, they simply activate the dosing gun with a light manual press, delivering the product into the dosing cup for easy and controlled application.
To prevent excessive or uncontrolled dispensing into the cup, Spray Dip features a controlled-release system. Additionally, the dosing cup is made of transparent material, allowing the operator to visually monitor its fill level.
The cup can also be optionally equipped with EcoRing brushes, particularly useful when using very liquid products, to prevent excessive dripping after immersion.
Spray Dip can be used with both single-component and two-component products. For two-component products, it must be paired with our BiMix system.
